Nepal beat Hong Kong by 6 wickets and qualify for the 2019 ACC U19 Asia Cup to be held in Sri Lanka
Nepal ACC has become the U-19 Eastern Regional Champion after defeating Hong Kong. There is also a champion in Nepal U- 19 Asia Asia Cup.
Nepal defeated the Hong Kong on the 6th wicket in the final of Oval Ground on the banks of Malaysia.
Nepal's total goal of Hong Kong's 96 runs was to lose four wickets in 16.1 overs.
Pawan Saraff of Nepal added 39 runs. He scored 5 fours and one six in the 36 balls. Similarly, Rit Gautam, 13, Rohit Kumar Poudel added 12 and Khadak Bahadur Bodha added 8 runs.
Earlier, after spinner Sagar Dhakal picked up 5 wickets while making excellent bowling, Hong Kong was defeated in all the wickets in 43.1 overs.
Hong Kong players could not make double with 24, Kalahan Mark Challe 19 and Rauun Kapoor, 12 others.
Sagar gave only18 runs in 10 overs and took excellent 5 wickets. Kamal Singh Aeri, 3 and Kushal Malla and Tilakraj Bhandari took 1-1 wickets.
Winner Nepal will now play the ACC U-1 Asia Cup from September 28 to September 8 in Sri Lanka. The country will participate in the Asia Cup including Sri Lanka, including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, UAE, and Kuwait.
